The Armstrong Company Acquires Imagine Fulfillment Services
Acquisition allows Armstrong to enhance fulfillment services with closer proximity to LA ports
MEMPHIS, Tenn., February 26, 2026 – The Armstrong Company, a global moving and supply chain company, recently announced the acquisition of the assets of Imagine Fulfillment Services, a leading provider of e-commerce fulfillment services. The deal includes Armstrong moving IFS’ third-party logistics and fulfillment warehouse operations to La Mirada at 14647 Northam St., becoming Armstrong’s first facility in Los Angeles County. Armstrong’s Greater Los Angeles operations will manage the facility, allowing the company to handle more large-scale distribution, warehousing and fulfillment for retail, e-commerce and supply chain needs across Southern California.
“For more than 20 years, IFS served the southern California region with reliable, quality service and has established a strong rapport with the community,” said Ed Melton, president of Armstrong’s Los Angeles location. “Through this acquisition, Armstrong is expanding its geographic footprint into Los Angeles County, enabling our team to support an even greater number of order fulfillment services in a more timely and efficient manner. With many monumental events coming to the region with the World Cup and Summer Olympics, we are ready to open our doors to address a growing demand of logistics needs, especially immediate ones, during this exciting time.”
Armstrong entered the southern California region in 2013, managing a warehouse facility in Mira Loma in Riverside County. With the La Mirada facility, Armstrong now has operations within 25 miles of the Ports of Los Angeles and Long Beach, enabling faster turnaround times on large fulfillment orders. The 150,000-square-foot warehouse provides Armstrong with the flexibility to expand its efforts for order management and fulfillment, third-party logistics, kitting, assembly, packaging and labeling. It will also extend its existing logistics services, including commercial moving, FF&E installation and supply chain services, to provide companies with more logistics solutions under one roof.
“For over 27 years, IFS has pioneered 3PL services across all business sectors, from entertainment, print services and infomercials to the birth of e-commerce and to today, retail distribution,” said Jim Heffernan, an owner of IFS. “By joining forces and becoming part of The Armstrong Company, we are not just growing – we are redefining what’s possible. Together, we’ll accelerate innovation, expand our domestic and global reach and provide unmatched value to our customers.”
